Pranayama
The term is a composite of two Sanskrit words. Prana refers to the integrating energy that permeates all life. As such, it is both the breath itself & the life energy that allows the breath to be taken. Ayama means “extension”. So pranayama means to extend, slow down, or control the breath. The goal of pranayama is to strengthen the connection between your body & mind. According to research, pranayama can promote relaxation and mindfulness.
Meditation
In terms of yogic practice, meditation, or dhyana, is defined as a state of pure consciousness. Meditation is a part of yoga, which deals with mental relaxation and concentration. If you are struggling to find the peace of mind, try meditation with me.
About
Yoga has transformed my life beyond a physical practice; it has become a way of life for me. It is a profound embodiment of self-love, compassion for others, and a harmonious connection with Mother Nature, aiming to support its sustainable development.

In my classes, I blend physical postures with mindful breathing techniques, following the Hatha style. Participants can expect to move, sweat, and deepen their breath.

My journey with yoga has been a source of inspiration, leading me to discover purpose and fulfilment. Sharing my knowledge and passion as a yoga teacher is a natural extension of my profound connection with this ancient practice.

As I continue to explore the depths of yoga and expand my self-awareness, I hope to touch the lives of others, guiding them on their own transformative journeys.

May my path as a yoga teacher inspire others to embrace their inner calling and find harmony within themselves and the world around them.

Namaste!

"The yogi knows that the paths of ruin or of salvation lie within himself"

Why Quetzal?
Quetzal is a green bird with a red belly and a graceful long tail that lives in the mountainous and tropical forests of Central America. This is a rare bird species listed in the international red book as an endangered species.

The quetzal bird was a sacred symbol of the Aztecs and Mayans - it personified the god of air, while the quetzal feathers themselves became important to Mesoamerican aesthetics due to the bird's association with royalty and supernatural powers.

The quetzal is called the bird of freedom. There is a belief that, being deprived of freedom, this bird dies of a broken heart. Indeed, quetzals in captivity do not live very long. They say that when the dictator of Guatemala wanted to listen to the singing of the quetzal in his chambers, the poor bird, which was caught in the impenetrable jungle, died on the way to the palace, not wanting to live in captivity. And today, on the Guatemalan flag, you can see the silhouette of the Quetzal as a symbol of freedom, equality and fraternity.

However, for the Mayan Indians this bird means even more than for the freedom-loving inhabitants of Guatemala. For them, the Quetzal is a kind of sacred bird of tomorrow's happiness. Therefore, there is a second, unofficial name, "the bird of happiness."

Thus, for me, this small but freedom-loving birdy is my spirit animal, as so many characteristics of which are inherent in my character and my approach to life.
